those are pretty cool.... i like the basic 5 spoke designs, but the bolts/nuts around the outside are too heavy also.
dude, these rims are NOT heavy at all. I actually went to a shop and picked one of them up myself. I was tripping out over how light it was. The one i picked up was 18" and I doubt it could have weighed more than 20 pounds if even that.

No probs. Only 12 pounds or so, plus this color was a special order according to the ppl selling em making them one of a kind. Plus they are selling them with some nice tires for what would be the price of the rims alone. What about some Volk Gram Lights? I believe their lightweight forged wheels are out right now, or the Velox rims that look exactly like em. I think they are both around the 12-13 pound range. Nice s2k btw.

23 pounds is the listed weight for an 18x8. that will significantly slow down a car with a 17.5 lb 16" stock wheel. nice rims though. definitely top quality.

I like the SSR GT1's. I think those are the same rims as this pic I took on Saturday at HIN in Dallas, TX.

thanks for all the input ppl, esp. those of you who had some other suggestions that i hadn't considered. (although i shoulda known what everyone on this site would pick - i should've also added that i'm going to "drop it and get a kit." ... just playing)

i ordered the CE28Ns today. incredibly light, nice color, good quality, in stock, and i like the looks. now i just need to decide on tires.

good choice on the ce28n's schwett. i ordered mine in 16x7 gunmetal w/ 225/45/16 s03's....i need a wider and thicker tire for the street and smaller rim for my upcoming no traction project...lol.....They are very nice looking, im looking forward to seeing them on the lude, i think the first lude to put them on, on the board...I have just come under the impression though that 18's just dont belong on a honda, too big, takes more rotational mass to spin them, slows the car down, and you have to be alot more careful with them because you put a skinny ass tire on them. i drove my car like a grandma through town, dodging everything....
