Hello PO... my ride...

Hey, just thought I'd introduce myself, since I am new to PO. Love the site look and seems pretty friendly.

I am from Nova Scotia, Canada and got myself a 5th gen end of last summer.

I am thinking of getting some 17x7.5 rims for the up coming PEI drag... going to see what I can do on the 1/4 Mile.

Black with Black Leather Interior, in the photos sporting a nice TEMP permit

Plans: I am not really sure how far I will go with the car... I am thinking rims for the summer but at the same time I am not sure if I will really mod it crazy.

Also been looking at the EVO X and GTR, not to say that I am making that much $$$$... but it might be a possibility in 2 years+ ... but then again life happens

Chris

Yeah I am going to keep it clean for sure... no big ass spoilers bod kits (OEM lip all the way), it didnt come with a stock spoiler, but I didnt mind all that much, still love it.

I'd keep the "SH" wheels or get 4 AP1 S2000 front wheels. You can just put some wider tires on the front stockies if you want to do some dragging. Welcome to PO

Wheels I am looking at are by ASA... its like a lower end BBS... decided not to get 18's... going with 17x7.5 in one of the following

Also recently discovered I'll need a new clutch, heard a squeak when releasing clutch ... friend thought it might be a flywheel... i k new it would need to be changed when i bought it last summer.

So thinking of getting a Exedy Organic Clutch and ACT prolite chromoly flywheel (12lbs)... didnt want to go with an aluminum flywheel , wanted a steel flywheel and didnt want to go too light ... did my research was going to post a thread about clutches and flywheels... haha I deleted! and just read all day.

I wanted a short shifter, but doesnt appear to be anything reliable, and didnt want to get a pspec

Got the clutch (exedy OEM replacement, not the organic) and the ACT light flywheel on the car... feels a bit different and there were no problems ordering and shipping it from Washington to Nova Scotia, Canada

I ordered from Import Replacement Parts and have been very statisfied since the install two days ago. No problems at all! and great service from importrp!

Cheers,

Chris
