H23 Update

I bought a shell that i originally thought would be an easy drop the motor in and go project. Little did i know i would need alot more than just an engine and tranny.......

the battery cables

Just picked it up today

There is two dents in the pipes it looks as if someone tried to run them over so look like another FAIL

I spayed the header with the High temp heat spray i like the way it came out. I also read in project car raising the rear of the hood also lowers engine bay temp "Proven Fact" so why not try it.

Header wrap is...... j/p I read the mixed emotions about i opted not to go with it. Besides maybe it would be over kill anyway.

I am also going with a ARC Super Induction Box

Wouldnt Mind an N1 exhaust i've heard after 2-3 years they begin to cause problems i.e back pressure due to rust

All i need now is an aftermarket Clutch/flywheel/pressure plate combo, Engine Harness, Curious about this oil cooler kit as well anywho let me know what you think.

I attached the pictures just in case. I havent delt with this image host before not to sure if it will work

New parts in........

*Chipped P28
*V2 jumper harness-i dont know why the skunk2 jumper harness is $250 but i choose this one for $20
*Uridium Sparks- i was curious what the out come would be using these. I think i might wait until i use the sea foam and then swap these in.
*XTD clutch combo kit from ebay but its going in anyway. Can you see the spray paint? If i only had the patience it would have been a ACT and a 7.5lb flywheel.....o well

Waiting for the MIB to drop off my engine harness and fans....

Waiting for Paypal to confirm my home address to have my transmount shipped.

Late last night after a full can of PB Blaster and WD 40 i managed to remove my rear rotors and hub assembly. Of course i had to drill the screw out of the rotors but finally they are out. I plan on trying to remove the front hub assemblys today if this rain lets up. Also ordered brembo slotted front and rear disc brakes they are the same size as stock so i just going to run those with upgraded pads. All i have left is to install the IM, Balancer shafts and oil pump with sensors. H23 VTEC blows.......Wish i would have just waited for the Euro R. O well

The WS2 exhaust is very nice. I have one and it sounds amazing. The only thing that I dont like is that it hangs low and I scrape whenever I go over big speed bumps or into dips. But you can always cut the hangers and weld them back together to make them shorter.

If you're talking about removing the front knuckle, you'll have to get a pitman arm puller to seperate the ball joint stud from the knuckle.

You need to do wheel studs? GL. They'll need to be pressed in. You'll have to get the hub out to do it. On top of that, I recall it being quite common for wheel bearings to be damaged in the re-studding process, so you'll probably want to get some new wheel bearings as well. I no it's not the news you were hoping for, but this is my understanding of the situation. Travis (madcatz) had a mechanic cross thread a wheel stud on his car and had to do bearings along with the studs on his.

I'm moving this to Members Rides since I think it will get more attention there.

Thanks I just purchased a piece off of a member here that has a section molded into it to keep a VAFC or 2 gauges. I just have to sand it down and spray it black to match the dash
