h22jdmvtec's 1999 Honda Prelude Base Progression Thread.

hey guys. well i dont have many pics to share, but.... here are a couple from the day i got it.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

about a month after i bought it i got an aem cai, a skunk2 catback, and a megan racing header.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

about 3 months after i bought it, i ended up spending more money and got a carbon fiber oem style hood and some 18" rims.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

after all that being done and over with winter came and the rims ended up staying on cause of bad tires on the stockies and the cf hood came off. well this is what happens when you leave 18" rims on and try to drive after a snowstorm.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

the most recent upgrades are, a set of skunk2 lowering springs, type s strut tops and a type s strut bar. soon to come are a set of jdm sidemarkers. i have them, but i just gotta get the balls to cut into my fenders. haha.

BEFORE
[IMG][/IMG]

AFTER
[IMG][/IMG]

This is all i have for now. i will get more pics up soon of the type s strut bar. i am also in the process of repainting my valve cover. its currently white with a red wire cover, but they both came out like crap so i am redoing them with a different approach.

Let me know what y'all think. sorry about my car being dirty. most pics were taken in the winter (i live in Newhampshire). the newer pics were taken while i didnt have a license and the lude was just sitting and was in the process of being lowered.

Sucks about the mirror and fender. Yeah this coming winter I need to save up for some winter treads for my stock's I just ran the all seasons last year and they weren't that great. I like the CF hood and black rims on the black lude, an OEM kit and JDM fogs would set off the lude very nicely.

Oh yeah also glad to see you decided to go with a good brand name for the lowering springs, your car will thank you
