Freshly Detailed

I spent all of fathers day with my dad, and a porter cable orbital and did a full wah and 3 stage body detail as well as all the interior cleaning and such.

Started with the Meguiar's Gold Class car shampoo, then used the orbital with 3M fine rubbing compound, buffed... then orbitaled with Zymol Concours glaze, buffed... and then hand applied Zymol detail wax and buffed it with the orbital.

Lets hope this lasts until LFW next weekend.

the only parts that are not original are the hood, and the rear drivers side 1/4 panel (both repainted after body damage).

Looks good, but could use another step of a more aggressivbe paint cleaner before the 3M. You can still see a little webbing in the hood if you look close enough. Not dissing you, just trying to help out. sorry if you have been offended by this.

I know... I should have clayed it before the compound. I had the clay right there and just forgot.

My dad's car is a real 1959 Porsche 356-A Cabriolet. It is his pride and joy, and someday it will be mine. He keeps it in mint condition, and as you can see it sleeps in the garage on its own carpet. We enter it in various Porsche and German auto concours events. Won quite a few awards too...

Thanks for all the compliments guys.
