Finishing up the Built 5th Gen

We installed the engine and most of the components. Everything seems to be running smooth. Here are the pics I took with the cell, sry for the blurry ones. Been a long day in the garage. Soon we will be doing some custom wiring and bolting on the remainder of the parts.

Thanks. I only got these because they are an easy and quick bolt on to the rest of the exhaust.

Not sure yet. The kit will come eventually. Gotta do a lot of research still. The engine was built by ERL and Endyn to operate at a max of 35 psi, producing up to 800whp. There's no way in hell that I'll make those numbers out of this daily driver. Trying to think realistically here.

nice equal length mani+35R(.70/.82)+tial WG and BOV

if its a DD do what i did with the neon run a catless 3 inch downpipe into stock ehaust and install an electric cut-out on the downpipe, no need to make a bunch of noise or attract attention when your just cruising around town but then when your ready to have some fun flip the switch

just my 1 cents...yes i only have 1 of them lol

I've never even heard of that electric cut-out before! Sounds pretty sweet tho. I'll do some research. Before the engine swap, the car sounded really deep with a nice rumble. Hopefully the head work and cams will magnify that tone a lil bit. I cant stand any raspiness in an exhaust.

they are the best if you dont want to attract unwanted attention just crusing around town, they also make your car into a real sleeper if you bolt a downpipe with a cut-out to stock exhaust

Sweet. I hope this new engine doesn't bring out any raspiness, or she'll be immediately under the knife again.

Well I guess I should have made a note about that body kit. It was on the car when I bought it and I'd put a Mugen kit on instead, if I just had the cash to do it. I figured I would put some cash towards the performance first and then change out that kit.
I installed the new Type-R shift boot a couple days ago and the Honda Emblem on the dash has been removed also. Lookin to get that cluster swapped out now. The white gauges stand out too much and the tach ONLY goes up to 8k

When I get a hold of some Pro1 Skunk2 cams I'll be revving up to about 10k.
