The following is a public service announcement concerning prelude addicts:

This is a test, this is only a test...if this was an actual emergency you would've heard VTEC engage...thank you for your time.

Name:
Kevin
Car and color:

Engine:
H23, Ebay cold air intake w/ K&N filter, DC Sports ceramic header, custom exhaust sans catalytic converter with added glasspack afront muffler

Then it rolled 200,000miles while I was riding with my friend who had the following sitting in his garage. I was about to drop $3-4k on a new motor and he offered me this for $5k.
Yeah, it already had some work done, but I'd done the ground up thing, and it only had 92k on it! Here's a artistic pics of the two together, then we'll get on to the evolution:

Car and color:
1995 USDM H22A VTEC 5-spd, Milano Red

USDM H22A on VAFC, TypeS valve cover, AEM pulleys, AEM cam gears, ACT clutch, lightened flywheel, K&N filter on carbon fiber cold air intake, Greddy Header & Exhaust (182hp dynoed)
Exterior:
AccordTypeR front lip, Kaminari sides and rear, HFP emblems, custom nostrils concealing hidden hood-pins for the carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber trunk with custom G35 spoiler,
custom E36 foglights, JDM Black 1pc'ers, custom LED running/brakes/rear turns, EDM rear fog, 5th gen glass sunroof conversion w/ shade
Interior:
stock black leather w/ red stitch accents, Clarion/Infinity/Sony/Alpine TypeS, battery relocated to trunk, JDM foglight switches for front/rear fogs
Suspension:
KYB Adjustables, H&R sport springs, Ingalls camber kits on all four corners, upper and lower strut tower bars, slotted rotors, 17" x 7" +40mm offset R1 Racing GTR-6's
Future Mods:
Paint, stereo rework, port & polish w/ Stage2 camshafts, springs/retainers

This is kinda the evolution of a 1995 VTEC, in pictures w/ notes:

in the beginning, there was Fast & Furious

Cleaned up

NPM'06

FACELIFT (raccoon's @ 6am...argh)

Wingless (temporarilly)

Current

This is a never ending love, and I will constantly update. Comments, questions, whatever...bring it on. Thanks for lookin'

OG?! (old guy?) Yeah, actually that's Billy's car (the full race 5th gen) and as far as I'm aware he still has it. Todd didnt make it up to that NPM if I remember correctly. Yeah, I'm an old guy, but I still act like I'm 12 (at least thats what my wife says)

What up Kevin, the ride is still looking pretty clean. You talk to Rich anymore? How many Preludes is he up to? Last I've heard, he was at 14 which is the one with the J swap. When you going to send me those headlights for retrofits, cause you know that'll finish off the look of your car

Hey Brian, hows things in BigD? Yeah, just spoke with Rich the other night...havent got to see it yet, but yes the Jswap is sick, he's got a thread over on PP with pics and all...runnin' 13's I think he said!?

Retrofits huh? maybe, but I got the kiddo on the way at the end of July, so headlights are probably on the backburner, and if I do, I'll probably have you source me another set of 1pc'ers and do them, then trade ya + $ervices. Plus I want something unique...but you know thats how I roll. Maybe I'll have you do mine while I have it down for paint...in a year or so. Cant decide between that, or building a head w/ cams...decisions, decisions.

Talk w/ ya soon.
