Finally got some pics of my sheezy..!

Well, I have been browsing these forums for quite some time,.. just recently about a month ago became an actual member,.. and finally got some pics taken of my ride. It's a 98, 5-speed, and I am gonna try to get a few better pics soon, didn't have much time when I took these. Anyways,.. my mods are:

Full 4 piece Wings West Avenger Kit, shaved emblems and lettering, Full medium silver pearl metallic paint job,..<-- gonna get some close up pics since the pics I took really dont do the paint justice, VIS CF Hood, 19 x 7.5" Forged Centerline RPM rims which only weigh 14.8 lbs each,.. 215/35/19 Yokahama Parada Spec 2 tires, ground control suspension, Kenwood Excelon Head Unit, Infinity Kappa mids and highs, 10" subs and amp,.. carbon fiber trim kit, DC sports short shift adapter and gunmetal shift knob with Ractive carbon fiber loooking shift boot and shoulder harness,.. also shortened the actual shifter lever, <---NTPOG---> OBD2 workaround,.. engine stuff consists of just basics right now,.. AEM CAI, DC CC Headers, Random Hi-Flow Cat, Tanabe DTM cat back exhaust, AEM Pullies, Magnecor wires, Denso Iridium plugs,..

..working on putting mesh behind top grill to match the body kit, getting all new KYB adjustables and then lowering the car a tiny bit more, also have to modify the inner fender lip in the back because I get just a tiny bit of rubbing every now and then, stiffening up the suspension with the KYB's should fix most of that though,.. might paint the sides of the hood to match the car and leave the center section carbon fiber,.. don't know yet,.. what do you guys think..? Lastly,.. I am smack dab in the middle of researching for a turbo upgrade. My best run at the 1/4 mle was a 14.58, and that was on a cold 40 to 50 degree night. My best friend has a 98 Eclipse GS-T,.. granted he has it modded pretty heavily,.. but DAMN,.. it is fast as hell and is a blast to drive,.. I get back in my car and it feels incredibly just average at best. So,.. I have the exterior pretty much done,.. now it's time to get some power in this thing. I just found a shop locally that has experience with turbo upgrading on the H22 and sending the block out to get re-sleeved and all that,.so,..it looks like I am headed for some re-sleeving, forged pistons around 9:1, new rods, head studs, and probably some variation of the DRAG gen 4 kit,.. since the DRAG turbo that comes with the kit is sized better than the one F-MAX gives with their kit,.. just doing my homework on this one , cause I want to be able to run 15 to 18 lbs with no reliability problems,.. I have an appointment this week to go check this shop out, and supposedly they have an H22 down there right now ripped apart,.. so I can ask a ton of questions and get plenty of good info.

Anyways,.. sorry to write so much, but this is the 1st time I actually got some pics of my ride so I figured it would be nice to give a basic run down of the mods in case anyone had some questions. Let me know what ya think,..

I like it! Rims and all, looks pretty good... Get some more pictures, bigger if possible. One thing I suggest is don't match the mesh in the upper part by the hood, look clean as **** the way it is, mesh in the top will look ghetto.

love the color, not feeling the kit, but looks good !

how do you like the hood ? Do you think you need hood pins, or does it seem pretty tight ?

Thanks guys for all the feedback,.. I used to have a Wings West RS Kit but it just wasn't enough,.. looked too much like stock kit. With the Avenger kit, I love the front and sides,.. but the back is still growing on me little by little. Anyway, yeah I know I got to clear out the rear turn signals,.. been meaning to do that. I'm getting a few more pics taken, some close ups of the paint and some straight side views. I live in Maryland, Harford County. And the mesh idea on the top grill , it would be behind that factory insert,.. so I haven't really made my mind up on that yet. Yeah and I am pretty positive I got lucky on that run where I hit a 14.58,.. I did 3 runs that night and the other 2 runs were in the 15's due to launching too high and spinning and missing 3rd gear in the other run. Plus the cold weather always helps. Anyways,.. thanks for all the comments,.. hopefully will be starting the turbo upgrade soon,..

Hey payyourtoll,.. I thought that was you,.. you were asking about the CF hood in the 5th gen forum,.. hopefully I answered a couple of your questions for you,.. and Blitz,.. that run was done over 2 years ago,.. I don't go to the track often at all lately cause I haven't added any new engine upgrades lately,.. but if I remember correctly, the 60ft time was in the 2.1-2.2 range,.. and I am almost positive the mph was 95.XX , anyways, if I go through with the turbo project,.. I will be at the dyno and the track quite often over the next year. Luckily I have a wideband dyno and drag strip both within 20 minutes of where I live.

Thanks makavelli and 01ludesh,.. I live about 45 minutes away from Uof Maryland College Park,.. and the paint job,. well I got a killer deal on it from a shop here in Harford County called Paradise AutoBody,.. the guy does some killer a@@ work, and he hooked me up along with I had some insurance money from several door dings and what not that I claimed,.. so in the end I only had to put out $3000 of my own money, and that included all the body work, all the prep work, he professionally installed the body kit and the paint job itself.. thats not bad at all considering the quality of the work,.. I am very pleased with how it turned out,..hopefully I will have a few more pics on here by this weekend.

Hey trulegend, I like the avenger kit alot,..and I think it looks fine on my car conisdering my car isn't lowered all that much either because of the 19's. I am lowering it a little bit more once I get my new struts and do some modifications to the inner fenders.
