On Friday I did all the paperwork & picked up my 99 base 5spd Lude. This car was an absolute steal--33k, garaged, rarely driven in the last 6 months (owner travels mucho, his wife drives their other car)--$15.7k. The only downside is a little tap on the rear bumper, you can kinda see it in the pics, he said it was estimated at $400 to repair...but once that gets taken care of, I'm set. Had it checked out by Honda, they said they'd need about $15 in parts and a new set of front tires to make it certified used
I've never had a 5 speed before, and although I know how to drive one, it's taking some getting used to to get comfortable. It is a seriously fun car to drive
First mods: alarm, radar detector...and in no particular order: clear blinkers/sidemarkers, CAI, tint, OEM kit, rota slipstreams (probably sooner than later cause I need new tires), transfer parts of my old stereo.
i run vis vspec with stock shocks (bad idea). But from what i've seen around you'll want a nice set of tiens probably on kyb/agx.. if you search, you can take a personal count on whats most popular. And i do believe tiens are the best things ever from what i've heard...
