My brother has a Fiber Image carbon fiber hood on his 2000 Acura Integra for almost half a year and so far no need for hoodpins. I believe as long as the metal latch is secured to the carbon fiber hood you should not need hoodpins.

IMO, should have had the car lowered before going with the carbon fiber hood. Are you going to have the rims powder coated to match the cars exterior? BTW, looks good! Post pics when you lower the car!
