drew's ride/intro thread

hey fellas. i didn't see the typical newbie section that most forums have. so i figured i'd make my rides page and intro thread into one. well anyways, my name is Andrew. i go by drew if you couldn't tell. i'm 23. i hail from NW FL, 'bout a half hour east of pensacola. i'm not new to ludes at all. i've owned one for what will be 4 years this july. my mom owned it prior to that, and she bought it brand-new. and no it wasn't given to me. i bought it from her. sadly, its auto. its a 2000, just passed 76k. tranny is surprisingly still holding up very well. i dont think it's one of the bad ones as i've NEVER had problem with it... and i've put it through its paces.

i used to be on preludepower for quite some time, long before i even owned the lude. i was LUDEacris. i lost interest in that site quickly and i discovered this site. i lurked for a few days and noticed this place has a ****ton more information and so far what seems like more friendlier/knowledgeable people. i'm also on sfpoa.net, florida's prelude owners group.

as for the lude, here are some pics and a list of mods i've done and my future plans.

Engine:

- stock H22a4
- painted spark plug cover (gold/bronze)
- painted valve cover (NHBP+clear)

Tranny:
- stock auto

Interior:
- painted gauge bezels chrome

ICE:
- IPOD wired directly to radio
- pioneer speakers front and back

Exterior:
- 20% tint
- swapped newer grill for older style grill
- OEM front lip
- oem spoiler

Lighting:
- smoked side markers with amber bulbs
- TSX projector retrofit (by brian)
- smoked rear signal/reverse lights
- clear front turn signals
- amber LED parking lights
- JDM fogs

Suspension/rims/tires/brakes:

- black painted brake calipers
- tokico shocks
- tokico springs 1.5" (advertised) drop
- 17" bronze ADR Formula 5s
- Nitto neo gen 215/40/17
- 27mm adjustable progress sway bar
- progress endlinks
- painted brake disk hubs black

Misc:
- autopage RS850 security system alarm/keyless entry/remote start.

in the future, i plan on swapping to a 5 spd. i have the tranny and a few select parts. just waiting on the last few.... and the funds of course. i plan immediately after to supercharge it. if i get bored, i might work on the head. like get a cam made for forced induction and maybe port and polish it as well along with adjustable cam gears. my goal is 240 whp... before i work up the head. here is the full list of future mods... pretty much in order except for paint and JDM side markers. those will be last.
-future plans-
---pure aesthetics
- double din nav system
- repaint it grenada black
- paint base side and rear skirts
- delete USDM side markers and add JDM side markers
---performance---
- BETTER shocks/springs (fully adjustable coilovers)
- RMF header
- custom 2.5" exhaust w/stock looking muffler
- high flow cat
- SS->5spd swap
- PSPEC short shifter
- JR supercharger kit
- 440cc injectors
- chipped p28 ecu
- remove IAB
- tune
- crower forced induction cam
- adjustable cam gear

Nice car and welcome.

I really like how you painted the spark plug cover gold/bronze.
