deaf lude's prelude.

Hi! My name is Alex. I am deaf, but really I am hard of hearing meaning I can talk and hearing well. I am not profoundly deaf, but still called deaf due my hearing loss. I am 25. I currently live at Orlando, FL. I have been in the honda game since early 2005. Been to illegal street racing, been to track courses, raced for bet, anything like that you name it, but never been to jailtime, lol. Just some stupid tickets. 4th Gen Prelude is my dream car since I graduated from high school 2004. Ive been a member of many forums such as tamparacing.com, alldeaf.com, flaccords.com, ej1squad.com, orlandoforums.com, honda-tech.com, and hondasociety.com. Lol, sorry for many fourms but that because Ive had different honda cars in my past time before I got my civic/prelude. CB7 coupe w. h22 swap, eg ferios, and more but they arent my favorite. Nothing trilled me about them. Only just civic and mostly for prelude. Hope you enjoy reading the pics!

vvvvv Had it for 5 years and recently sold few months ago to buy a prelude. Bought it in Jan of 2006 and sold in April of 2011. I sure will miss this coupe vvvvvv

in 2007, when i had my civic, ive been wanting to get a prelude because its my dream car so i got 96' Prelude Si for cheap due the h23 motor is dead, but wrong time because i didnt had funds to repair the engine and had civic to take care of so i had to force myself to sell prelude again.vvvvvv

After had my civic for 5 years, I decided to sell my civic to buy a prelude because Ive been wanting a prelude for long time so I sold my civic and bought this 92' Prelude Si.... hey, i know its bumblebee prelude, but hey i got it really good deal that i couldn't pass! Here are the pics the day I bought it. vvvvvvvv

vvvv got Enkei 92's very good deal, but damn nasty offset making me feel like a mexican so I flipped and sold twice than what I paid for and it is getting ready for PAINT!!!!!!!!!! no more bumblebee for me because I can't stand it!!! Also got a set of jdm one piece stanley headlight vvvvv

vvvv BOOM! flat semi black paint job with ton of parts installed after the paint job. vvvvvv

welcome to the forum!!! amazing transformation from ricer bee crap to that awesome Bugatti style satin black! Looks great!!! I like everything about your ride. The only comment I have is, I don't think that 5th gen roof visor sits right. Just something weird how it looks on a 4th gen. Other than that you have one great Lude! Keep it going!!

I feel you... I thought of the same thing when I got it. I will get rid of it as soon as I find 4th gen prelude sunroof visor or 90-93 accord sunroof visor. Thanks for the comment!

I wouldn't waste money on the F20b swap, less torque than an H22a and no extra top end to make up for it.

I see, but imo, I go for f20b due its 2.0 litler to save some gas, some power better than the current motor I have in my lude, and is cheap cost than h22a. (JDM TECH at Orlando, FL have f20b for 650 flat and h22a is 950 flat to my door) I mean everyone have h22. I had a h22 swap in my old cb7 coupe. Not into speed. Just based by look and just want to be different.

I don't care if you disagree for prelude having a trailer hitch, but I have one on my lude and I pull a 5x8 trailer, jetski trailer, and dolly tow. I own a 5x8 trailer, but not jet ski and dolly. I sometime pull jetski for me and my friends to have fun and pull dolly tow to pull my homeboys ef si hatch with h2b swap (h23 vtec with b16 LSD tranny all motor fully built *nasty setup on a small hatch*) to race track once a month and ofc sometime my homeboy buy ef si/crx shell and need it bring it to home. Here are the pics.

Some people said add a trailer hitch is a disgrace to JDM world. I was like wtf?! lol. I don't add it for just show. I use it to haul. Yes, they are sportmaxx 002 0 offset double lip, but i sold it because my fenders are killing tires. I don't want to roll the fenders because I want to get a set of legit rims someday.

Oh yeah, two things I forgot about my lude is I named him ironlude because its pulling my 5x8, dolly, and jet ski trailers and it have JDM F22B swap. :-)

I just done installed accord rear lip on my ironlude and this monday will install rear mudflaps hook up straight with the accord lip.

Heres a pic that I got off of the internet is the dark silver peral paint job is want I want for my ironlude in the future.

Well since your car is already OBD2 then the F20b swap should be pretty straight forward, will be just like an H22a swap.

That's good, but I read some forums that have to change dizzy, intake mainfold (to big and will hit wall) and find p28 to tune to match f20b. You know everything to do the swap?

Just done installed clear lense on my tailight and accord rear lip. I have to wait till this monday to install rear mudflaps with the lip straight up. Heres the pic.

^^ forgive me for having a ricer fart can... I will be in the market to buy a exhuast setup soon.

I noticed theres a members ride seciton over there? Should MOD remove my thread to there? LMK. thanks!!!

Just use the dizzy of the engine that is in your car now, the reason they say to change is because JDM engines always come with internal coil dizzys so it's just easier to use one off the H23a1 or H22a1/4 since the harness is wired for it. If you have an H22 in your car now you can use the IM from that, if not it would be a good time to look for a nice IM, the Rosko Euro R is a great choice for a street car.
