Crazy97Lude’s peacing out thread!

Well, it’s been an awesome run fellas but after 5 years of this site and owning a lude, it’s over. Almost exactly a year ago my 5th gen was totaled so I figured I’d make my first and last members ride thread. I know it’s not much, but I did what I could with a college budget! I really did love this car too much, and met a ton of amazing Prelude owners. Funny how I still visit the site daily, it’s just instinct I guess.

Here is a final mod list and progression pics, hope you guys enjoy!!

Engine:
AEM V2
Skunk2 oil cap
CermaKrome'd heat shield---Thanks Perry!
Misc. pieces powder coated
S2K oil filter
NGK spark plug wires
NGK Iridium spark plugs
Spoon tank socks
Chrome dipstick
Valve cover powder coated gunmetal

Interior:
New OEM floor mats
Accord pocket
OEM cargo mat
SH rear deck
LED's in everything
Newly working alarm....finally got around to buying another remote....lol
Pioneer 6.5 speakers
S2000 steering wheel
JDM carbon fiber gauge overlay with real chrome rings
OEM carbon fiber trim kit
PasswordJDM titanium shift knob and skunk2 weighted knob
CTR red stitched shift boot
Pioneer DEH-P400UB head unit

Exterior:
All new exterior lights
Custom LED side markers
LED's in everything
Honeycomb grill
VIS OEM Carbon fiber hood
35% tint all around
OEM lug nut locks
Black housing Depo headlights
Wings West lip kit
Rx330 Retrofits w/ TSX-R lenses & color mod

Suspension, wheels & tires:
Metallic silver powder coated blades w/ a polished lip
BF Goodrich g-Force Sport tires
Spoon front strut bar
Suspension Techniques front/rear sway bars
Brembo blanks w/ OEM pads

Here are the pics with all the work/mods I did over the years:

The day I bought her, worked my freakin butt off to afford her by the time I was 16!

Did a few subtle things first, clear side markers, tint, LEDs, paint cluster rings, honeycomb grill, SH rear deck, accord radio pocket, new OEM floor mats, timing belt/maintenance, etc.

Fresh weather stripping!

Led side markers…

Got my stock blades refurbished and powder coated a metallic silver color, all new Brembo brakes

S2k steering wheel

Carbon fiber gauge bezel with real chrome rings:

OEM front lip, VIS OEM carbon fiber hood and black housing headlights

AEM V2, powder coated valve cover gunmetal, spoon strut bar, NGK spark plugs and wires, polished heat shield, Spoon tank socks, skunk2 oil cap and chrome dipstick.

Gave up trying to find the rest of the OEM kit so I sold my front lip and bought a full WWRS kit.

Here is probably my favorite mod, my retrofits. Of course, I only had them on the car for a month, I guess that cost me about $30 every day for a month…LOL. I can honestly say I drove with them on night and day for all 30 days though! But JLude did an AMAZING job on them, and even helped me through wiring them up.

And, here she was on Dec. 17th 2009:

To make a long story short, some idiot slammed on their brakes on the highway, going 60+ mph b/c he wasn’t paying attention, I guess. I swerved to miss, barely missed him but lost control hitting another car and bouncing off of that car into the concrete median. Mind you while crossing all other lanes of traffic...somehow not getting hit.

To add to the depressed mood….here is the Civic aka bubble sedan that replaced my Prelude:

Yep…I know what you guys are thinking. Bad*** car huh? I know. Specs: Automatic, 175,000 miles, needs two of everything mechanically, might have 100hp if I’m lucky, blown speakers, some crazy loud squealing alternator belt, but it gets 40mpg, costs nothing to insure and can do a mean backwards donut bishes! (:

Buuuut, finally something positive. I’ve always wanted one, and I was finally able to buy my own g35! It’s mah BOSSTANK haha. Now let me shut up and get to the pics!!!

I still really miss my Prelude and plan on getting another as a project someday. But I’m honestly thankful for everything that’s happened, good and bad. Made me realize how much I take things for granted.

As some of you guys know I’m the owner of eXtremePrelude.com and I will continue to keep up the site forever as well as add content when I can. Wish everybody the best of luck, I’m out!

Bill

PreludePower.com is a joke and is ran by kids. The Off Topic Whores and the MODS who require being respected and threaten people when they feel they are not. What a joke. BTW, don't ask them a question as they will answer with a ban.

SoCalPrelude.com MODS only inforce rules on some and not on all. Kyle is a joke.

BTW, Eric Schultz in CA is a known scammer. He did it to me, he can do it to you. Just a heads up. Know as "backinblue92" here on PO.com
