yeah i ordered the intake. I didnt do my homework on it. I figured since it was Subaru it would be OEM like. I do have some hesitation throughout certian parts of the RPM band so that might be the cause. I do still have the stock stuff for it.

The DP install was a ***** on this one, was easier on my 05.
I ended up totally stripping out the INSIDE of one of the bolts.

Its on and I'm getting boost creep.. I should've kept my catted from my 05 me thinks.

That sucks. I stripped the bolt and welded nut that's at the bottom tranny bracket for the downpipe yesterday. Everything else went good more or less. I'm in the middle of trying to find out if I have an exhaust leak or if it's just the noise from the turbo being more audible now. It's kind of hard to detect leaks on this boxer engine because of the pulses of the exhaust. Maybe you don't have that problem with the equal length header though (did you put that in yet anyway?).

I had a lot of smoke rolling off when I first started it that I thought could've been an exhaust leak, but it ended up being from the downpipe wrap.
Have you tried looking around the turbo/DP with a flash light yet?
I havent had an exhaust leak on either of my subies so I cant really tell you what to listen for.

The header isnt on yet.. I JUST got my replacement EGT probe that Jet Hot lost, went to put it in and realized they also melted the bung for my EGT so I have to re-drill that .

My broken wings how far should I go drifting in the wind.
