i believe mugen makes a carbon fiber top for the s2k. or you can always settle for fiberglass, what's the top made out one from the dealer?

i do not like carbon fiber. ricetastic imho.

the dealer top is aluminum and glass, around 40 pounds. i don't know the weight on the mugen one, but it can't be less than 20 or so. not a worthwhile difference given the difference in quality and cost - the mugen fiberglass top does not come painted.

i still haven't seen one on the car in person, but it looks pretty good in pictures i think.

>i've discovered that i really like working on cars, figuring them out, installing things, etc, but i am so tired of the fact that nearly every aftermarket part seems to be poorly designed or made, in some way or another. and even then, if it fits right, etc etc, there's always some huge tradeoff.

I knew I missed something since that work thing got in the way of my reading.. anyhow, here's my $0.02cdn schwett: The companies who make mods and upgrades for the s2k and NSX are light years ahead of those that cater to the prelude market. The s2k isn't even that hella an expensive upgrade from the lude. That attitude alone seems to justify the platform as a better choice for performance.

Congrats, and I think I might be headed down the same road next summer. If you haven't found it already, www.s2ki.com ..

Oh, one mod you should do: Get some better rubber on the car.

Your S look sort of high. You might want to check if they left the spring spacers in.

the wheel gap looks really large b/c you can't quite distinguish the tire from the space... bad picture.
