AcedPRELUDE's very slow and boring build

What's up guys. I've been in the prelude game since I first got my license before graduating hs. Started with a 96 prelude auto then sold that because I wanted a manual car and that's what brought me to my current ride a 97' Base Prelude 5 speed. This is definitely a slow build thread but I have done plenty of work on this car since I first bought it back in early 2010.
The old ride. In kinda bad condition but I loved that thing probably because it was my 1st car and the dash on those things are awesome.

Heres a couple of photo of when I barely got her in early 2010. I liked the wheels but 18's where a little to big. Clear side markers and side skirt and a rear lip set it off. Also put oem Honda lock nuts.

Sold the 18's and got these RSX rims with great hankook tires. Restored the rims and took of minor curb rash and painted them gun metal.

Decided to do a full brake job. Put Brembo blanks in the front and new rotors in the rear along with ceramic brake pads from auto zone. Glad I won't be buying any brake pads anytime soon and bled the brake system. :evil smile:

Got a oem hood bra in great condition just to add to the black and red color combo I was going for. I also got some weather tech side visors. Boy do they help since I like driving with my windows down and hate the air hitting me in the face especially in the freeway lol

Also got a full Greddy Trust catback exhaust and put it in right away

Painted my ebay intake (came with my car with NO air filter) and put in a K&N filter immediately. Also decided to paint my valve cover anodized red and also the spark plug cover.

Photo of when I changed my cam cap plug, vc gasket, and the spark plug wells

Put in a carbon fiber trim kit. I like it nothing crazy. Around this time I couldn't stand being with out a stereo. Bought the ride with no speakers and no stereo. -_- Put in a stereo and some speakers.

Random photo. Yes my tires are super meaty and makes my car stand a lot higher off the ground lol

Got unto photography and bought a slr. Also put on a p1 front lip after wanting one for the longest time. My ex bought me it lol anyone wanna buy it? lol

Heres a video I took of my Greddy Trust exhaust. I like it

Did a full LED swap. Put in leds my parking lights, license plate, side markers, dome light, and the ones next to the dome light. Changed out the blue dome light a to a bright white both where 48 smd led board panel. Swear you can't look straight into it without blinding your self for a while.

The rear visor serves no purpose but sure looks great A while before the visor I got new rims, some Konig Bumps with brand new falken tires all around Now all that is next is my long over due suspension set up, because the last owner lowered it with some cheap springs on oem struts. Doesn't ride that bad but still... also got the new civic si DOHC VTEC stickers and just took of the I from ivtec lol

A couple of months ago my car was progressively leaking oil so I was tired of it. Ordered new Honda gaskets for oil cooler o-ring, vtec solenoid, distributor seal, cam cap plug, valve cover, spark plug wells. Put them all in and it appears to not be leaking oil at all now I had to stop driving my car while I got all the seals because the vtec solenoid was leaking a drip of oil every second while just in IDLE! My oil cooler -ring was leaking to but not as bad. I've done a lot of other things to the ride like new fuel filter a long while back, new gas cap since it failed for emmsions testing, been running seafoam for some time once every long while also replaced a o2 sensor, complete tune ups, NGK wires, iradiums plugs, recently my alternator went out, got a new battery from walmart for 30 bucks. My old battery was from my old 4th gen which I sold when I had barely got this car. New honda bond oil pan sealed. And that's about it guys.

My most recent photos of the lude as she sits as of now for the new year. Lowered it a bit on Koni Yellow struts and Ground Control with a high spring rating ;D also put new Energy Suspension bushings, both cv axles. and my clutch master cylinder went out so fixed that... I was bleeding the clutch and it was taking forever to get pressure on the pedal so I changed the slave cylinder and bam got pressure. Also I have a brand new 8lb fidanza fly wheel waiting for to be put on along with a Competition stage 1.5 clutch. Might do it in a couple weeks but might just wait till it starts slipping. Pretty low on cash and want to do the rear main seal too.
