I checked out your setup and....very nice. Im actually looking to get the Greddy Turbo kit w/ FMIC at the end of the year. How much did you end up paying total to get the kit and tune the car and for gauges?? Just to give me a rought estimate of what ill need to do and spend in the future!!! thanks

I thought that was pretty good for a greddy turbo kit, dont the greddy turbos put out less than some of the others (fmax, drag4, etc)

yeah the wastegate is set to about 6-7 psi which is what i am running.

mike03 - pm Defconskylude about how much...he gives very good prices.

keepinitclean - most greddy kits ive seen make about 210-220whp range for the stock boost. another friend with the fmax kit was making 225whp. so im very happy with what im making now.

when i first put on the turbo i made 220whp and 198wtq. since then the only thing i changed was the bigger downpipe and 3" piping all the way back. i knew it made more power when i drove it for the first time...but i didnt realize it was 30whp more!

the tuner estimates approx 290whp after boost controller at 9si and leaning the fuel out a lil bit. hmm....i guess rims can wait anther X-amount of months...

Good times bro. Those were the numbers i was aiming for before i crashed the lude. Show these guys what the greddy turbo can do with some nice tuning.

no i havnt run it yet. im waiting for a boost controller at 9psi and some slicks before i go. wanna get it all done right for the first time. haha...ill prolly end up buying slicks before i buy rims.

^^ yah hopefully with a lil more tuning and more psi i can get it slightly higher w/out blowin the stock block. buh_buh just made 290whp on mustang dyno...so gives me faith the stock block should be ok.

akio74 how was the process of making the 3" down pipe? did you just take it to a muffler shop and ask for it and they get it done or how was it like? I though 2.5" pipe on down pipe and exhuast should be enought if you are pushing less then 1bar

dragazn - i went to a performance muffler shop where they did stuff like this on a daily basis. once i told them what i wanted done, they were like no prob....weve done many. yes im sure 3" is overkill...but as ive learned from the past...might as well go HUGE the first time so u dont need to upgrade later. i got 3" downpipe and 3" all the way back...however on the downpipe it hung so low that it scraped everywhere. it hung about 1" lower than the tow hook. so they changed it out to 2.5" ...then 3" after that.

TJN - u need divx codec. http://download.divx.com/divx/DivX511.exe
