they are great man. they were like 70 with shipping i believe and came with the coil wire which a lot of these sets dont. They were easy to install and came with a set of iridium IXs. I recommend them for sure!
Yeah for sure what grit sandpaper did you use and did you wet sand it between coats? I am for sure dam body shop whant 800 $ f that lol
I used 3m 1000 wet/dry sand paper. I didnt even really have to sand between topcoats, only the clear, and sand the clear lightly. I am going to reclear with spray max 2k today because you dont have to polish it and it is extremely durable! ill post pics man. you gonna do it?
yeah I already orderd the paint i got 1 primer and 3 cans of base do you think that will be enough ? oh and where can I get the spray max clear coat?
If you are doing the sides and rear skirt I would order two can just to be safe,no harm in using all of both cans, two base coat cans should be enough bro. You can get the spray max 2k from paintscratch.com or order it through your local carquest. I am getting my lude back tomorrow and putting on the freshly cleared lips so I will be able to show you how great that stuff is. I should have used it from day one
****UPDATE**** POWDER COATING,NEW NEUSPEED STRUT BAR, RECLEARED SIDE SKIRTS AND REAR SKIRT****
*I still need to polish DOHC VTEC on valve cover and clean powder coated parts, Let me know what you guys think!*
My spark plug cover needs to be repainted but, you get the idea!
Hope you all like! Headers are next!
**Dont mind the water, I just washed it *
thanks man! your car is looking phenomenal by the way. really like the rear spoiler. I am going for a different look. not tacky or out there but an all blue scheme with silver is going well so far. headers are next. what do you suggest for headers?
wow that's a pretty bright blue, not saying its bad but just really bright. I still really want to paint my VC but I'd be a darker blue. Good call on the re-clearing on the sides and rear.
