Just left the shop, here's a teaser of the color in the shade & sun. Windows and doors are going to be removed today & Car will be painted tomm.

Decided to shave the jdm side markers off the fenders for a cleaner look

In this pic it looks darker than in person

Sun pic, has blue metallic flakes in it also.

Here's pics of where it came from for comparison.

Now are you using the stock spoiler or did you switch to the flush mount with the new paint?

Im switching to the flush mount. Im selling my stock trunk/spoiler for dirt cheap lmk.

I dropped off my valve cover today to paint match and heres how the car is looking. Should have it home next week.

A close up of the metallic

Not everyones style but i Found a pair of all clears that I've been lookin for. Possibly retrofit LEDs into them, not sure but they were cheap anyways so I got em.

Also found a deal I couldnt pass up on a Clutchmasters fx400 with only 5-10 miles on it.

Here's a comparison of my old k20 SSR to the Kidd racing I have now. Way better subframe clearance

Picked the car up last night. Took almost 3 months but I'm extremely satisfied with how the work came out. I put on the wheels to see how the white looks against the color. I'll be running them reverse staggered his time around.

Installed the tails, wing, spoon mirrors, bumpers and lip.

hey did you have to use a spacer for the s2k cmc? I picked one up from LKQ but haven't test fitted or put it on yet, and from big mikes build thread he had to have one for on the forth gen to fit but i think our firewall is shaped different.

You're doing an amazing job, keep it up! I love seeing Preludes get reborn. BTW, your price on all that body work and paint was a steal, I paid a lot more and got a lot less.

Thanks! Sorry for taking so long to update, wanted to wait until I dropped in the motor.

Sprayed the subframe and replaced both inner and outer tie rods. The old tie rods were destroyed! What a difference...

Found this used AEM for a price I couldn't pass up. Just got here today.

So I was tired of looking at the ****ty wheel wells, decided to bring them back to life and sprayed them with fresh undercoating.

Before.

After.

Installed the clutch & FW

Also installed the s2k cmc which needed mod to fit. Had my father extend the bracket.

The engine was looking like **** from sitting for so long. Sprayed with with Eastwood aluminum spray paint.

Before

After

Also picked up a 50 degree vtc

Bolt boys engine kit. Installed the fresh hardware

Gettin the inside back together, the dash bar had alot of surface rust.

Sanded and Polished the Hasport mounts.

Dropped the motor in for good

& an ass shot with the new daily

Plan is it have the car completed and on the road by May. Traded my pair 16x7 regas for a pair of 16x8 so I'll be refinishing the set+ fresh stickers.
