97 Milano Red Prelude Build Thread

Hello Everyone. I have been a lurker on this forum, for a while now, as a Honda enthusiast. I have met some great people here, and now can finally contribute and post a customers build, we recently have taken on.

A customer of mine, contacted us in regards to building and finding a Milano Red 91-01 Prelude, and having us do a full restoration. He used to be the original owner on a 97, and sold it years back, but the "itch" never went away (we all know that feeling).

So, we sourced this 97 Milano Red Prelude, from the original owner, and purchased it. Immediately, we went to town, with the tear down. With his apporoval, I will be posting the entire build, here.

Basically, this restoration will consist of mostly all new OEM Honda parts, and refreshing any aged items. The true beauty of the Prelude!

The Beginning!

Here it is, Milano Red (Actually Milano Pink) Prelude. For the last 14 yrs, it was used for daily driving duties. It has its fair share of dings, dents, chips, faded paint, etc. Basically, everything shows it 14 yrs. of age.

We started to tear the car down, and prep it for bodywork and paint. Currently, we are giving the entire car a degreaser bath. Cleaning everything from the engine bay, to the undercarriage and wheel wells.

The Teardown.
