Wanted to say hi all, I'm new to the forum and a newbie to the Prelude community in general. Glad to be here. =) Anyway, this is my bone stock 2001 SH. Just bought her last month. Gonna be my daily for the next four years and hopefully longer. My current mission is simply to return it to as close to rolling off the lot condition as I can. Unfortunately, though it had pretty low miles at 99,000, the car is a Jersey car and those who live up North know what that entails... Rust. Ugly disgusting rust, but only in the engine bay and under carriage, there is no sign of it on the body. =( I was an aircraft mechanic by trade and don't know that much about car engines or tuning and am learning by trial and error. However, I do know quite a bit about handling corrosion, but this is something that I simply don't have the tools to take care of... I'm afraid if I remove any rust infested parts to treat that it might become unusable. Is there any way that I can get this professionally taken care of? And if I do, how much will I look at paying? Posted pic of engine bay. Poor car.
