sony vaio PCG-FX150 and dvd player and screen

I have a vaio laptop that I'm thinking about selling. Its a P3 750mhz. 128megs ram. 20 gig hard drive. with a dvd rom drive. I have the box...and most of the manuals, battery, and power cord. It has a 15" screen and is in awesome condition except the modem is not working. But you can buy a pc card modem for like under 30 bux these days. Anyways I want to get 850 OBO. please let me know if anyone is interested. thnx.

Jeff

I also am selling my dvd player and screen that is currently in my car. Its a performance tekniques brand screen and qwestar dvd player, with the TV tuner and everything that comes in the box. The only reason why I am selling it is because i never use it...its just sitting in my car and is never used. I think the quality is just as good and you don't have to pay like friggen 2 grand to have a dvd player in the car.

Here's a pic of the screen. Screen and DVD player I will sell for 450 OBO.

Lemme know guys,
Jeff

the dvd player is in the glove box. and the wires through an FM modulator since i have the stock head unit in my car. I can take closer pics if you want me to. but its a basic wiring job that's pretty easy to do. Wire the FM modulator to the head unit, and the power to the screen and dvd player and the two connect to each other...Its really simple. and I'll throw the FM modulator in there for free if you need it. That was like 20 bux that I'll just give away. but if you have an aftermarket head unit you can do a custom job. I have a pic of it if you want where you put the screen in DIN area where the head unit is and move the head unit down lower where the cig lighter is.

As you can see I don't know how to work my cousin's digi cam for the life of me but anyways the top wire is the video in to the screen that comes from the dvd player...real simple plug and play stuff. The bottom wire is the power wire that you would most likely splice into your power wire of your stereo.

As you can see here I never bothered to do a nicer install of the dvd player because that is how little I used this thing...and those are just the extra wire that i just stored in there. The only thing is that it looks messy as hell. You close the glove box and no one would know.

Here is the R/F mod switch...No need to explain here...it works like any other R/F modulator and i'll throw that in too if you have a stock head unit and you need one if so. The only other wires is that on the back of the dvd player. One power wire that you splice in like the screen wire, the A/V out wire which goes to the R/F mod and the screen respectively, and one remote wire where you have the lil sensor that you place anywhere in your car so you can control the dvd player and still have it hidded somewhere. Hope that helps.

Jeff
