I have one of those launch day ps3's with the backwards compatibility. comes with controller. The internet does not work, nor do the controllers sync wirelessly. Works fine though if you don't do any online stuff, or mind having to be plugged in all the time. sony charges a 150 flat rate for repair.
someone local want it for like 125 or something? if anything you can just watch blu rays.

i put it on craigslist for 150 and some guy hit me up in like 10 minutes. I really didn't think anyone would want it.
Because of the PS2 backward compatibility, it is worth more $$, only the first produced PS3s had this.

i have a 60gb, and id go crazy if it ****s up. i still play all those ps2 street fighter games and gran turismo 4 using my ps3, since all they have for gt5 is a million demos.

sold! to buyer from craigslist for $150. for the 5 years i had the thing, never popped in a single ps2 game. The card slots were cool, but I never used those either haha. I love my new slim, doesn't heat up the room, and its quiet as hell! Worked out great for the buyer because his kids only wanted to play ps2 games, and he didn't want them on the internet.

Yea I have one of the 60 gig PS3s and I'm considering selling mine too for the slim. I mean, I already have a modded PS1 and PS2 in my closet, but its pretty convenient to have the backwards capability.
