Hey I am looking for a prelude catalytic converter if anyone knows of one I can get my hands on let me know I kinda need soon too. Thanks
any muffler shop has a universal one in the area of $40-150 depending on where u go....but if u want a prelude specific one its ofcourse alot more.
I paid $60 at A&B muffler in Arlington.
if you get a new muffler, I'll take your old one, cause I need one for my other car
i have my old exhaust system if you can use it come pick it up....but heres the problem its all welded on....so i cant break it up unless u cut thru welds

^ Virtually anywhere that sells Magnaflow. I got mine online. Can't remember where, exactly. Tomorrow night I can look through my records and find it if you need to. If you search for either a "carsound converter" or "magnaflow converter" you'll find places that sell them. (Carsound is the same as Magnaflow, BTW)
Well this morning when I started my car my check engine light came on and I thinking becuase of the converter I really need to fix it.
Did you check what the code was or are you just guessing? check out the code first before you spend money on a cat you might not need. how many miles are on your car? oem cats are supposed to last a long time unless you've got engine problems.
Well I am guessing about the light but I was told by several people that my cat was screwed up and I need to do something about it.But the light is still up so I still need to check the code to see what the problem is.

^ x2. Definitely don't replace the cat until you know for sure that it is out. The car will still run fine without it working. Unless you have to pass emissions soon, whats the rush?
