ok...the room that the ennis people were going to use is free now. there going to another hotel to stay at. if anyone else wants to go hurry up. $34.00 per night. cant beat that. to get into the show i dunno how much that is.

well i heard that there is a caravan of 20 cars going down to austin from dallas. the person who told me is lauren and i meet with her and paul tomorrow (thursday) for the final word on whats going on. she told me that caravan is leaving at noon but she thinks she can have them wait till 2pm if need to. i would like to leave at 2pm. we dont have to but would be nice. that the other reason why im meeting with lauren. to see what time is best for everone going. my ennis crew will be going down later i think so i will call them now to see.

we meet up tonight. she said there should be 30 people going down on friday sometime at noon or shortly after. so tonight we will meet up around 6 and talk. im still not up for driving my car because of the oil leak issues and i dont want to keep adding oil. so i would like to ride down. so lauren is going to see whats is up with her crew to see if i can ride down with them if need to. i havent heard from the ennis crew so im not sure whats going on there. lauren is going to see if everyone can leave at like 1:30 so i can have time to go home real quick and pack. i think she said they will be meeting up at 635 and greenvile area.
I found out why they call it heatwave it was really f*$#in hot about 100+ outside in the sun all day the event was HUGE, we had a pretty S#!ty start to the trip. Austin from Elusive got his front end on his 4th gen tore off by some idot in Fudruckers parkinglot and we hadn't even left dallas yet, he still decided to go w/no front bumber and all, what a trooper. Then the drive down took us 41/2 hours, traffic sucked. When we finally get into Austin some idot in a protege (?) was trying to start S#!t and trying to side swipe all of us ended up catching a little of it on vid and a couple of pics.
last night was a fun night we were chillin with the reps for Rockford Fosgate and drank with them till 6 in the morning (also trying to convince them to sponsir(?) Justin's car) then going to bed and crashin till about 10am to go back to the show and check it out again.
well i have this thing about getting jinxed so im not going to talk about rockford. i need to help them out with some buisness first for one of their vans so im going to jump on the first and then see what i will get in return before all deals are finalized. but i will say the talk with Don B. with Rockford Fosgate was good.
Would have been nice if more people went down. for those who think you spend a lot of money need to re think that. rooms are sheap when you split it 5 ways. then if your on a tight budget eat fast food. and its $20 for a 2 days pass and you can go in or out the doors all day to eat etc. i spent less than $100 on the whole trip and had a blast.
for those who want great audio deals next year should go down because each audio vender (kincker, rockford etc.) sell last years model for half or less of what the went for last year.
