To make a long story short. I drove to a NTPOG meet yesterday had a blast, i was on my way home, and i got the flashing red and blues. Dang its been almost 2 years since i got a ticket. He pulls me over and ask the question " Do you know why i pulled you over?" I thought to my self. Well its not because Im white, not becuase im driving through texas at 12:30 with oklahoma plates, not becuase my car is loud and anoying, probably becuase I am smuggling all this good texas beer back to oklahoma. He then told me becuase my headlights are yellow. WTF I have had these headlights on the car for 2 years in oklahoma and not a single word about them. He then proceded to tell me he was going to give me a warning for my headlights. And ohh before i let you go I am going to write you a ticket for speeding. I was like HUH! He said i was going 74. I asked why he would write me a ticket for going 4 mph over the speed limit. Well i guess texas has a daytime speed limit and underneith it is a night time speed limit. Im a dumbass for not paying attention. Well i had a blast. hope to be back in May if my wife will let me. I got a little less than 3 hours of sleep.

Yea, these TX cops will mess with you for things like that. Laws here are a bit different than Oklahoma. Can't be rollin around with yellow lights down in this area or they'll bust you. Yea, we have a daytime and night time speed limit. The day time is the white sign and night time is the black sign under it....TX has some crazy ass laws

hahah yea. I just wasnt paying attention. We have 2 signs in oklahoma. the top sign is the speed limit, the bottom sign is the speed minimum...

It was a great meet! Two 4ws red 4th gens! Five 4th gens in total! I guess there where some 5th gens there, didn't really pay attention...

LOL yea. Good thing was i got home with the beer. Bad thing was it is the most expensive beer i have ever gotten. LOL I figure after the ticket im looking at over 300$ for the trip.

after the cruise thats the first thing i said to some of the guys, "how has he not gotten a ticket for those yellow headlights yet?" texas looks for reasons to pull you over to check for other stuff.

lol i've been pulled over 3 times since I got my yellow headlights and they haven't said anything about them... I think it's because you had OK plates :P

It sucks so much balls because I really do have respect for cops but when a ****ing pig pulls you over and gives you such a pussy ticket I just want to yell at him and tell him to go find a ****ing murderer or drug dealer, not someone who pays their taxes and has a job... at least for me. I smell bacon, I smell grease... aaww **** its the ****ing police... I pay the cops to protect me from actual danger not to waste my ****ing time babysitting me... ****ing pig. Goodnight! lol

^^ exactly. I wasnt the only one with yellow headlights. but i guess i was the only one with oklahoma plates. Next time i come down, I will be sportin the custom stanely bulbs.

Yea that is true we all do hate Choke-lahoma down or Hoe-klahoma... actually I just hate OU. haha but even at that... still a waste of time... and not to mention money. ughh
