Saw a San Marino 5th gen today when I got outta class at NE at noon (OEM Kit, tint, dropped suspension, drilled/slotted rotors, Gram Light 57 Pro's in Silver, painted red stock calipers).
Driver was a slim white guy about 20. I would have said something, but he didn't walk up to it till he was in my rear view.
Nah, chillin' around DFW. TCC NE campus for summer I and working everyday at the shop. If you're interested; I'm 1/2 way done with the LED conversion on my dash and I'm doing my 2/4 drop on my truck on the 7th.
BTW: Saw a black 5th gen base model today at NE (black, wingless, stock wheels on backwards, no-name exhaust, tint).

I dont know how a 5th gen's gauges are lit up, I'd have to take it apart to tell you.
With the Silverado, half is easy but expensive, the other is tough but cheap. The gauge cluster is lit by standard sized lights. So I went online and bought LED clusters that plug into the same 194 slot as a bulb, but has 5 wide-angle white LEDs on the other end. Buy those and some new twist and locks and it all plugs in. Now the rest of my dash lights (AC controls, light controls) are lit by single LEDs spread out on a board. So I've ordered the singles to start that. I've already taken everything apart and cut out all the old lights, and now I'll soder in the new LEDs once they get here.
I'm ordering the drop kit and everything else tomorrow. It'll be here in a week...
lol yeah thats me! I've talked to a couple of prelude owners out there from summer school and told them about the meets. Hopefully we'll see them there this weekend!
