Just got off the Phone with Slatelude who's been working to help set this up.
Z Club of Texas (http://www.zcluboftexas.org/) is hosting a Drivers Education Event at Hallet Motor Racing Circuit on Sunday Sept. 9th
NTPOG and Tulsa Preludes have been invited to attend this event with them.
Cost is $140 for the day.
Right now TexZCar are only looking to fill 20 spots total (as I understand things). They're now looking to see how many of us will commit to this.
Also to go along for the weekend...
Friday Night:
Tulsa Raceway Park (1/4 Mile Drag Strip) will be open For a Test-N-Tune (http://www.tulsaracewaypark.com/) Should be $15 to race your car or $10 to watch.
Saturday:
Kevin and Crew are looking to rent out a dyno for the day. More info to come.
I'm hoping to have some hotel options for us by Sunday for the meet.
So.....
Whos interested and who will commit. I'm already planning to by a track spot.

I'm well above the steering wheel. I have a longer torso than most, I think. I had to have the seat custom made with a back that's 2" taller than normal with the holes for the shoulder belts raised too. Very odd, if you ask me because I'm relatively short. Anyway, I can see fine out of it. The seat is a tad low. It probably wouldn't hurt to raise it 1/2" to 1".
Brian, your sorry @$$ better be comin' up....oh wait, I'm the guy that keeps meaning to make it down to DFW for a meet, whoops!!! I should be talking to Lisa w/ TexZCars this weeks to solidify everything, but Doug's outline is pretty accurate...we'll make adjustments as needed.

Dont worry Billy I got your back , I'll drag the 'lude for you, we'll get some good times down (of course depending on track condition, weather, etc)
What's Lisa's last name? I wonder if it's the same Lisa that organized the Z Club track day at Hallett a few years back. I went on Saturday with the Afla club and Sunday with the Z Club. It was a good event. Lots of nice looking Z's out there. That was way back in 02 or 03, I think!
