I got a free pass from the wife for the day (at least most of it) and decided to go to the next S2k autocross:

Let's see... Valerie is having her bachelorette party that night... I am heading to Denton to hang out with some friends for margaritas... and Todd is actually going to race... damn... it looks like I will drag the Civic onto the track for the first time... and the last time I will race single...

Todd, I am sure you won't embarrass yourself. You may be rusty but I am sure you'll run with the big boys.

Are you running your Prelude?

It'll be nice to finally see some more Prelude's out there though.

Casey, you definitely need to come out. Trust me when I tell you that you will not have many more opportunities.

Billy, I'd take the Miata before I'd take anything else. I'd suggest the Prelude but I know it's way too much of a track car to be anything but silly at an autocross.

You'll have to make it out to an MSRC event next year Todd.

It would have to be next year- that's a lot more money to enter and a lot more wear on the car. I should be able to budget for that, though.

NASA is $125 for a one day HPDE event, so it's not too bad. NASA's last event is at MSRH in Oct, so if you want to run at MSRC with them, it would definitely have to be next year.

I knwo this will be my last time for quite some time... I might be able to every now and then... but life completely changes in 22 days... so I am not going into it thinking I will still be doing the things I do now...
