problem with my running lights...HELP!

the car keeops popping my fuse that controls the running lights. those lights would be the front two bumper lights, the rear bumper side markers, and my taillights. my friend jumped the fuse and when he did the front lights lit up, the rear bumper lights were dim, and the tailights were barely on at all. i had just gone done messing with the new jdm fogs earlier that day so i figured the problem was up there. i took the bumper back off, and checked all the wires and they look good. i dont know where else to go from here seeing as how ive never messed with the rear lights on this car ever.

Any suggestions guys?

There could possibly be a short somewhere. Check for continuity on all the leads of items you listed. It's going to take a while to trace the problem.

So when you put a new fuse in, the fuse blows and the lights just go out?

Use a multimeter with a continuity tester. I would first begin with your taillights and go on from there. Just attach one of leads to the hardness and follow that wire. Once you found and end point, connect the other lead of the multimeter and see if it beeps, which means there is continuity. Its going to be a long process, but I'm pretty sure that is what your problem is. Do you have the helms?

Being a 4G, did you ever do the re-wire to have the running lights AND the blinkers all light up at the same time? That MAY have something to do with it, assuming you did that mod of course.
