Hoping the new owners let NTPOG forum stay here. (I dont see any reason why they wouldn't)... look at the bright side.... more people will be aware of NTPOG and how great it is and might start coming out to the meets. (I guess, I'm not alone when I say that the turnouts at the meets is quite low).
We have no plans on removing any of the sections and hope we can promote the meets to get the turn out you guy/girls are looking for! We also have donated prizes and other items to different meets/rallys, so there are alot of things we can help with.

So what if the ownership has changed, so what if the skin has changed, so what if people can read and post on our forum "for free"... big deal... it's just a website... we are all still here and can keep our NTPOG community still alive... who knows the new owners might even help out, as the admin above claims.

I have to agree that while Dan was nice enough to let us have a forum here, that priveledge was NOT free. Even if we stay here for free I'm not sure the additional traffic they bring us will necessarily be a good thing.
A lot of people that have not been on this board for a long time or been an NTPOG member for a long time will remember what "free" membership did for us and for the board. The riff-raff was completely unbearable and it was a horrible burden on the moderators to keep up with it. we may have had a fairly consistent member base but the members that were added were definitely worthy of adding.
I really don't know much about the company or about the admins but I don't like the changes that I have seen so far. I'm not all about bashing a for-profit board run by a company, but NTPOG doesn't bring a hell of a lot to the table to haggle with if we were to try and promote change that would benefit us/the board that would negatively impact the traffic... which is exactly what the new owners are motivated to improve (quantity, not quality).
i just logged in for the first time in awhile and WOW, what the hell did i miss??? new skin, new owners, voting for a new forum, wtf? if the forum needs to be moved, i say no to DI.com for sure. lotta theives there that shop the forums and come to the meets to shop as well. f that. other than that ill follow yalls lead.

I think NTPOG starts their own board and tries to pick up where PO.com left off in 2003.
