NTPOG Web Site

OK, the site is back up and functional just like it used to be...

I'm sending a request for volunteers to:
  • Redo the header graphic, I'm not interested so much in any "changes" but more to clean it up, it's pretty chunky and could be smoothed out quite a bit. I don't think I have the original images, just the logo, but Justin should have them. I can provide plenty of source material if someone is willing to do it (including a good source logo)
  • Maintain a "real" events page
  • Create new mods/writeups OR convert some of the ones I've done or some of those that are FAQ'd here
  • Convert existing ones to PDFs using Word and CutePDF or similar
  • Create some updated Reviews for the site
  • Contribute some additional Article material
  • Anything else you want to see on the site? Suggest it, but you will likely be volunteered to do it.

I might see if I can scrape up some stuff to do a couple of articles. I should also volunteer to go and update all the articles/reviews I wrote many years ago. I'm sure that there's plenty of items that could be updated in those items.

Wish I knew how to do the website stuff. I guess I could do the Events section as long as I didn't need to do too much HTML, etc... stuff. If it is just a matter of typing what is coming up then I can handle that.

I don't suck too bad with PS either so if Derek can't do it, I can try working on the logo.

I may be able to get a write-up for installing a rear sway bar. I'm sure ya'll do it more "professionally" though.

Thanks for getting it running, BTW.

I can handle the PDF creations.

I'll put in some reviews on anything I have experience with.

I have some articles I'd like to add to the site. I have the 'Car & Driver' under $30k and over $30k articles.

Also, thanks to everyone for the offers. You do NOT need any HTML experience as I don't want to revamp the site. I will gladly take whatever format you can give me and convert it to work on the site.

I also need someone to go through the Specs page and see if you can find the missing specs (in red).

Todd, I am sure you know the correct answer, but didn't the SH have a slightly higher compression with slightly more aggressive cams to make up for the extra weight?

The compression is indicated as the same on the specs page.

Also, wasn't the turning diameter different for the 4ws? I thought it was less than the other 4Gs...

The compression was the same on the SH. The cams were slightly more aggressive though overall power was advertised as the same.

The turning diameter should be tighter on the 4WS. That was advertised in all the literature on the 4WS models.

I guess you can work with Sean on this.

The turning radius is smaller with 4ws, I'd have to look up the numbers though.

I've already got some of the missing specs, still looking for the others.

Did you find the graphics? If not, I'm thinking about using different ones.
