So I sold the prelude... after months of trying. Sold it to some poor kid who was oblivious. Basically I just got whatever I could since I had been trying to sell it for 4 months. BUT I upgraded to a much nicer car... still in the Honda family. Ill bring it by at the next meet. Can anyone guess what it is?
Cant get picks either since i lost my damn cable to my camera
^^^ actually I was very VERY close to buying a s2k. The deal was already negotiated and I was prepared to buy that exact day. But I was looking over the car and I saw that the right panel and front bumper had been replaced, and there were swirl marks on the repainted bumper. I asked the salesperson if it had been in an accident before, before I even saw the car... and he swore to me it hadnt, and he said they were professionals and knew what to look for when it came to previous accidents. Well I called him out on it, and then he just sat there looking dumb. He went back and brought back the head body shop guy with the carfax. He showed me the carfax to "prove" it hadnt been in a wreck. I showed him my proof it had, and then he came clean and he said he knew it had been in a wreck when they bought it. That pissed me off and I walked out on the deal. This was even at a Honda Dealership.
SOOO
Its not a Civic SI. I would have to wait 10 weeks for it to come in, in the color I want, plus I would have had to pay a 3k premium on top of the MSRP since they are in hot demand. There was no way I was gonna drop 24k on a car I am going to have to wait 10 weeks for.
But it IS a sedan and it is better than the SI. I even think its better than the s2k.
On a side note, even though I already knew it, car salespeople are lying scum and I will never trust a word that comes out of any of their mouths.
Damn Lance, good looking out on the S2K seeing how it was in an accident. You defenitly have to look for small things like that. I bet that salesman felt dumb as hell after you called him out like that. Don't make the mistake again like your Prelude. Like I mentioned to you before, I knew I've seen your car for sale, and once you told me where you bought it from, I knew exactly what was up with that car.
So is it an Import or what? I'm thinking maybe it's a new Maxima or something
