My Problem

I did the code trick and found out the problem:

67-Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold

* Three way Catalytic Converter
* Secondary HO2S sensor
Any advise on how to get this fix asap I am tired of see the check engine light on.=)

I threw the same code a few months ago. I reset the ecu then and I haven't seen it come back on since.

yea just pull the negative terminal and wait 10 or 20 mins and then put it back and start it up.

might just be something funky that time that made the code come out. if it comes back then get a new cat. carsound for $40 i think.

Remove the 7.5A clock/radio fuse under the hood. Removing the battery is way overkill.

The problem is likely cat efficiency, i.e. it's a high flow cat or a dying cat, OR it's a bad secondary O2 sensor. Could be a bad primary and you're running too rich.

No matter what, if the cat died you need to find out why, they don't die unless they've taken a really hard hit or you are running rich.
