my car got broke into today when i took a lunch

had lunch today at Texas Land and Cattle on Mckenny and Lemon in Dallas. parked on the backside of the place. had lunch and came back out and my driver side window was busted out. i got closer and they took a screwdriver to the window edging to bust it out. pulled out the window and threw it under the car. then jumped into the car and tried to take my radio by yanking on it and couldnt. so the center dash is all ripped up. and the outer door is scratched and the frame for the window is bent. i got it dusted for prints also.

this happened between 12:30 and 1:30 today during lunch!

so now to call the insurance company and watch as i get raped.

ummmm nick, if you have not noticed the car has no stickrs on it for the past 4 months. all that you see is a green lude with konig trouble wheels. but you look inside and see the goods. im also glad my vafc was in the glove box. i did notice they stole my radar detector.

i called this all in yesterday and was told my claims adjuster will be calling me today. so i need to find 3 places to get a quote. and im allowed to go anywhere to get it fixed.

If you need any interior pieces (other than the dash and associated parts), let me know. I have almost everything still.

hmmm, well what sucks is that my interior is black and tan. sometimes i wouldnt mind replace the dash and door with all black but then i would have atan carpet, 1/2 center dash, and my stock seats which will be pulled out sometime soon and replaced with black racing seats.

I do need all the internals of the radio area for sure. the outer lower part of my dash is jacked up from the screwdriver digging into it.

you still have that alarm billy?

sux to hear that and right before HIN, have you thought about an alarm that uses a pager system i know they get pricey but im sure you could get it cheaper on ebay. Then at least when you get a warning on the pager you can run out and catch the thief

Yeah, I have the alarm. If you want it, I'll sell it cheap, as it's not doing me any good sitting on my workbench. I also have the windows control module for the alarm, and the trunk popper.

I can't help you with the dash, but I do have the door panels and center console (the part between the front seats). I don't have any carpet, though. If you need a black back seat, I have that as well, along with side panels, and a rear SH deck cover.

asim, i was about to have one installed a week or 2 from now and then this happend. it was going to have the pager, trunk and hood poper alert, glass break alert, tilt alert, and a back up siren if the first one gets cut.

billy, i might be contacting you later on about the one you have for now. after this i will very tight on cash and will not be able to afford the alarm i want for now.

The only thing my alarm doesn't have is a pager, and you can add that. It has glass breakage, tilt, impact, regular siren, back up battery siren, trunk popper, hood pin switch, window roll up/down module, and something else that I'm forgetting...

Anyway, just let me know.

Typical mojo doing and the area is infested with them.

Always, always, ALWAYS park away from everyone and thier dog. That's what I do. No matter if I have to walk a 100 yards across a lot.
