a lot of austinites always ***** about how much freebirds is better than chipotle. They just do it because they are hippies and they think chipotle has sold out and have gone mainstream. Which they have, but its still damn good.

omg its chipotle > freebirds > qdoba

i know because i've gone to all 3 countless times. the freebirds in dallas a little far but when i was at UTD, we had qdoba 1 mile away and a chipotle 1 mile away.

i've gone to all so much that i can distinguish each burrito. i always get the same thing burrito at each place so i can compare. my gf will back me up about chipotle ruling.

who the hell cares about mainstream? either i get a damn good burrito or not. and sorry freebird bishes, chipotle owns joo

I'm with Justin, I like freebirds better than chipotle, and it has nothing to do with chipotle becoming mainstream.

Although I will agree Madam Ma'ams is really good if you like thai. Peter, if you enjoy American comfort food at all, you need to check out Moonshine the next time you are here. Its on 3rd and Red River, and they have alot of interesting Americanized versions of foods. The Corndog Shrimp is awesome

i liked chipotle at first. i never knew what freebirds was untill a friend took me. and i lived a mile from it and when casey and i were roomates we ate that sh!t like once a week.

casey has a point....chipotle puts a lot of rice in it to fill you up and greedy with the rest. freebirds loads it up however. plus you have more options. black beans or refried. so many veggis to add, all kinds of sauces, more burrito sizes, plus they have flour, spinach, wheat, and cajun flavord totrillias.

im throwing the "freebirds" sign with my hands representing but yall cant see it.

i think we should all have meets and try each place and do a vote!

Ouch, burn.

Premo example: Leaving the Dobie parking garage, the garage attendant said, "would you care for some free DVDs?" Sure, why not? Then she hands us two movies. The first one talks about how 9/11 was a government conspiracy, etc... and the other talked about the US's progress into fascism.

WTF??!!

We stopped in a Micky D's on the way back and ran into the "Iranian's for Peace" bus. Apparantly they have a float in the Austin St. Patrick's Day parade.

Also, I don't know whether it was just because of SXSW, but there were more hippies there then I'd ever seen before!

Back on topic: Chiloso > *. Peter should have my back on this one.

You've never been to Chiloso? It's in Rockwall. If you know where Schlotsky's/ Burger King is, it is right behind that in the shopping center that has that Asian Buffet and Lady of America. If you know where Culver's is, it is right behind that as well.

BTW, tell them the Pool Stop guy sent you, hehe. They know me.
