Anyway, I realize that it is very late notice but does anyone want to help me remove my transmission this weekend so that I can replace this $5 bolt?

I am sure that I could provide some food and "refreshments" as well as some monetary compensation. I have removed the transmission before but I know that I could not do this by myself. Any help would be much appreciated.

I just called Rusty Wallis Parts to see if they have the bolt and they don't...they won't have it until monday so this may have to wait until next weekend.

I have a transmission jack that you can borrow. Has already helped me twice when I had to do clutch work for people

I am sure that would help a great deal...do you think that the jack makes removing the tranny a one person job or would I still need a second person? Last time I removed it I had the help of one other person, but we didn't have transmission jack.

Also, does anyone have a spare transmission that they could pull the bolt from? It would be great if I could get this taken care of this weekend, I would happily replace the bolt for a new one after it comes in...
