FS: 91 Isuzu Trooper - A great beater, former NTPOG TSV

Yep, it's for sale... this would be a GREAT beater, deer lease, or 4X4 project for someone. This truck has been very dependable for me and cheap to operate.

Cliff's Notes:

1991 Isuzu Trooper 5-spd Manual w/4 wheel drive (auto hubs)
- 264,000 miles
- RUNS GREAT, fun to drive
- 2 owner vehicle, I've had it since 1998/140k miles
- Have FULL records, maintained meticulously
- 2.6L 4ZE1 4 Cyl w/true MPFI (rare in this age truck)
- 120HP/146Tq stock
- Lots of performance mods (probably pushing 140WHP or so)
- "S" (base) model, PW, PL, cargo cover, and other trim from LS (luxury) model swapped in
- 15x7 Eagle wheels (all 5) w/31x10.5 Kumho Venture MT's
- Garvin Wilderness roof rack (large one, basically a truck bed on top of the truck!)
~ 20mpg mixed, aggressive driving
- Never wrecked - body & frame straight
- VERY little body/frame rust (common on these trucks)

More details... performance stuff:
- Delta high-lift Cam installed
- head milled and ported, roughly 9.5:1 compression
- 95 Amigo Intake manifold, TB, pipe, & MAF (all larger diameter)
- IM port matched and custom, insulating Teflon IM heatshield gasket installed
- 1996 Civic 240cc injectors (tuned performance to a safe 13:1 AFR)
- Have all OEM IM/intake/injector parts
- AIR (smog pump) system removed & plugged)
- Have all AIR parts, can be reinstalled (needed if you ever run a stock/small cat)
- Calmini cer. coated header
- Test pipe (also have high flow cat for emissions testing)
- Custom 2.25 mandrel bent aluminized exhaust w/Dynomax Race muffler (sounds nice)
- Exhaust is ALL flanged and bolted for easy removal/repair

Other stuff:
- Head rebuilt at 220k miles, done right, blows better-than OEM compression
- Have new timing belt tensioner ready to go
- Pretty new AC compressor, converted to R134
- Coils recently cleaned (AC doesn't stink)
- New plugs/cap/rotor/wires/O2
- Have homebrew 1" lift for rear (shackles & wedges) - not currently on truck
- 1-1/4" hitch & assorted drops/balls
- Front brakes upgraded to 1995 Rodeo (~ 1" larger in diameter, larger pad area), work well
- Pads in good shape
- Have old brakes & lines
- New OEM fuel pump, in box ready to go
- New fuel filter ready to go
- Steering gear replaced ~ 250k miles, have old one as well
- Replaced tranny @ 200k w/unit w/100k on it (still shifts and works great)
- Extra 91 Trooper 4 cyl ECU
- OEM (Helm's) Service manual
- MANY other OEM parts, some not made anymore, others kind of interesting...

OK... the "bads":
- Needs timing belt soon
- AC has a leak, obvious, holds a charge for only a few days (not currently charged)
- Front UCA bushings need to be replaced, won't hold an alignment (have new ones ready to go)
- Exhaust leaks- needs gaskets
- Tires need to be replaced soon (not much tread left)
- Paint is fading on hood and roof, scratched on sides of body
- Rear pass door wrinkled some
- Rear roof has ding... other dings pretty minor... normal rock chips up front
- Windshield cracked pretty badly... may not pass inspection
- Driver seat and rear bench seat fabric slightly torn- have new OEM driver fabric (uninstalled)
- Carpet is somewhat stained a little in front, pretty bad in cargo area
- Dash cracked & repaired in a small spot on pass side
- No stereo installed (will provide AM/FM/CD & pre-wired for front speakers and sub)

I have tons more stuff for the truck, and lots of knowledge/info - for instance, I can provide you with flow data comparing the output voltage of the OEM & 95 Amigo MAF to show they are within 5% of each other across flow range.

I'm looking to get $2k for this truck, as-is. That is with all the parts and my technical support, as needed.
