if you just need rotors, that should be fine in whatever you are choosing.

one big reason i went with mike is because its one stop shopping. i had to buy a whole vtec caliper swap + ate fluid (don't know if tirerack carries it) pads, etc.

its just nicer to buy at one place than at several (i've done that at hondatech sponsers) honestly, i would pay that extra dollar to get all my parts at once and not in pieces so i could work on the car quicker.

but if its just one thing, then just get what works for you.

i would read this thread too

brake article

My autozone rotors are just fine. As I said before, they are virtually the same as Brembos. All a rotor is is a flat piece of metal that a pad can connect to.

Make sure you price shop though. Typically you don't save much by getting the autozone ones.

different autozone different price? is this the duralast GOLD version where you can bring back and get a new one free of charge like my break pad?

I don't know about any replacement policy. Also, I would assume all Autozone prices would be the same. I'm just saying to make sure you are actually going to save money by buying Autozone rotors over Brembos. I think the last time I thought about getting new rotors, I priced the Autozone ones at ~$100 IIRC.
