We ordered pizza at a friends house. my friend and i were on our way to Walgreens to get Dr. Pepper. i was in the inside lane of green oaks doing 55 in a 45 and i car pulled off a side street and i couldnt avoid them cause they freaked and stopped in front of me, i tried to miss them but hit their rear end while steering away trying to ditch to the side, my wheels are perminately stuck that way now. i thinked they freaked because the driver ended up being 14 w/o a permit or liscence or insurance, his mom was the passenger. all 4 (2 from each) walked away, we had to crawl out my windows.

Jeff and I are ok, I only had drivers' side airbag. We've got bruising from my seatbelts and my chest is a giant bruise from the airbag and i May have a cracked rib, not sure yet. both the seatbelt and airbag saved my life and jeff's.

holy shiz that car is mangled glad to hear you are gona be ok. You are right about the curse my 5th gen has been in 2 wrecks both not my fault but the curse lives on. I think end of summer is high wreck season or something because both of mine happend around that time and the other day a friend of mine wrecked his new g35 on 75 and was hospitalized. He tried to avoid a car that cut him off and lost control when an 18 wheeler totaled his car.

Sorry to hear that man, that sux!

Please tell you me you had full coverage on your prelude! Please do!

But whats important is the fact that you walked away alive and well.

It looks similar to how i recked my red 93 lude, except mine wasn't as severe.

Hey Charlie - Sorry to hear about your car! Glad you got out ok! Hope everything works out. Let us know if the 14yo & mom get what they deserve - it's such a shame.

I feel your Prelude curse pain! I was going to pick up a hot girl from work for lunch, and I got into a car accident right in front of the parking lot. She was like twenty yards away, and she saw it all too. Talk about embarassment....

Well, since it was their fault, they're paying for my car (which was totaled by insurance). 5,400 bought for 6,500 and had 2,200 in reciepts. Oh well. And my parents are too set against a Prelude because of the tickets to get another one. (even when I found a nice '95 Si-VTEC Azure Blue ). So, looks like I'll be getting a truck. Trying for a 99 Silverado w/ a Vortec V8, got the go ahead from my dad so we'll see how it works out.
