The 2nd Gen will be reborn

Well me and a friend have decided that our lude shouldn't die like this. We've decided to save little by little and fix it up to be great and show worthy. here is the list we've figured out, the lil 2G will be nice after this eh? oh and the teams name was made by combining our nick names, his is silverfox and mine salmon man.

"Silverfish Racing"
1986 Honda Prelude 2.0Si Parts List

Stock Parts:

Engine: A20A5 2.0 liter 12 valve fuel injected SOHC 4 cylinder
Transmission: 5-speed manual transmission
Drivetrain: Front wheel drive
Clutch: Stock Honda clutch with 153,000 miles
Brakes: Four wheel disc brakes with stock calipers
Exterior: Standard red automotive paint (Some fading, chipping, overspray)
Interior: Graphite gray
Sound System: Kenwood head unit (non-working) with Kenwood deck and door speakers.
Wheels: 13 inch 4x100 lug pattern with cheap Discount Tire tires.

What WILL Be Done: (in no particular order. Mechanical before show)

Replace timing belt
Check and repair power steering system
Replace ground wires
Design and "install" team windshield banner
Replace stock camshaft with new camshaft from Colt Cams (reground)
Bore out throttle body
Install Venom stand alone control module
Replace stock fuel pump with a Venom fuel pump
Replace stock fuel injectors with Venom fuel injectors
Bore out fuel rail
Replace stock clutch with a Clutchmasters clutch
Rebuild transmission
Replace both CV joints
Replace header (undecided)
Replace exhaust system with Magnaflow 2.5 diamter system
Replace hood
Cut and install a hood scoop directly over the short ram intake (no rice here, baby)
Install 15 inch 4x100 lug pattern Enkeis with Toyo tires
Install Stage One turbo kit
Install body kit
Replace stock brake rotors with cross-drilled rotors
Replace brake calipers and pads with performance pads and dual piston calipers
Replace stock ECU with performance and programable ECU
Replace head unit with Alpine CD/MP3 player
Replace speakers with new Kenwood speakers (deck and door)
Install Audiobahn 12" subwoofer (built-in trunk)
Install Tokico Blues shocks and struts in the rear (DO NOT replace wishbones)
Replace both headlight units (not the bezzel or compartment) with H3/H4 conversion kits
Replace both front seats with lightweight seats
Replace seat belts and buckles (five point harness considered)
Repaint exterior silver candy coat with blue pearl undercoat
Paint rear "Prelude" panel silver candy coat with "Prelude" in black pearl undercoat
Replace stock guages and bezzel
Replace stock spoiler with early 1988 Fiero or Firebird spoiler

very cool. after said and done this should be the best looking 2nd gen ever. at least to my eyes.

Scrap that motor and drop in a B16A. Nothing a few custom mounts won't fix.

my personal goal, which is achieveable is to get that lil sohc into a beast. Once all is done would be pushing about 180-200 maybe, forgot to put the turbo on that list so might just hit over 200. But its a good engine and I'm gonna stick with it, unless I win the lottery then its a h23 lol

Man, that's awesome! Love to see somebody cherish they're 'lude to not put it down, especially one that age!
