There are very few of these still on the road... I'll personally buy dinner for the guy if you can get him to post on here.

There is a chick that has a 1st gen, she works for Frank Kent Honda, in sales in the new cars building.

Stay away from any 30-year-old car that's been up north for any amount of time. Guaranteed rustbucket.

Keep in mind that back then, they weren't good on economy (compared to, say, any Civic made in the last 20 years) and weren't very sporty by today's standards (again, any Civic made in the last 20 years). Also beware that they are all carbuerated and probably still had points... be prepared to do some tuning.

I'd recommend finding a clean 2g or 3g Si if you want a cheap, sporty, economical commuter. Should have fewer gremlins to sort out to be reliable, too.

Good luck making that work. Not only is it not likely to fit, you also have to modify an ancient 4-wheel strut system to handle the piggish weight. Lots of challenges.
