WTT: 1998 Honda Prelude SH small project MI*

I have a 1998 Prelude Type SH and I would like to either trade it or sell it for around 2800. The body is really nice for being a michigan car only a couple flaws.. The interior is amazing. The car is Black with Black interior. It is equipped with ATTS. It developed a rod knock after I filled the tank So I drove it home with it knocking maybe 2 miles. So it has not had the knock for long. I originally planned to pull the motor but I cannot for my life figure out how to pull the driver's CV axle. And I'm not getting much help so She's up for sale. I'm interested in anything that's reliable and is somewhat sporty. Thanks for looking

hey if it helps the drivers axle is easy... after you get the spindle loose and off the end of the axle you can use a flat head screw driver to pop the axle out of the intermediate shaft and then the intermediate shaft just has 3 12 or 14mm bolts the hold it to the block... remove those bolts and it will just slide out of the trans.... id recomend downloading a helms manual!

Easiest way to get that axle out is to wrap a chain around the back of the inboard joint and attach it to a big slide hammer. Pound on it while someone else puts tension on the axle with a pry bar.
