Well, fair enough. According to KBB, private party for good condition is $6100 and Excellent condition is $6,650. So, I figured that I listed the low end (Good condition private party) and high end (Retail) for references. But, the condition of my car is not excellent due to the ding at the passenger wheel well and other than that, it is in excellent condition, thus my asking price of $6,400 and pretty much will accept offers above $6,000.
Have not taken any yet - I can try to take some today or tomorrow - it is 100 degrees and it is almost impossible to take pictures in the garage due to lighting issues. I will see what I can do. But, there is nothing wrong with the interior, but no upgrade other than the carbon fiber kit. That's all.
I'm interested in the car but I live in Las Vegas is there anything we can work out?
Well, you have seen the pictures - it is excellent condition except the ding on the driver front wheel well. Everything on the car works 100% and it runs excellent. All maintenance is up to date and on schedule. Timing belt and water pump replaced about a year ago. So, I can guarantee the condition of the car and as long as you take care of it, it will give you at least another 5-8 years of trouble free. Whoever get this car should consider himself very lucky - since I was originally plan to keep this car for 20+ years when I bought it and maintained it that way and to date, it never give me any trouble, not even a engine hesitation or slow start even in sub zero temperature condition. I am not a fan of customization, but I am really anal. about maintenance. So, count on that.
Now, if you want the car and would like to get more information, just ask - send me email or call (214)869-6362. I will give you as much info. When you are comfortable with it, come and pick the car up - I can pick you up at the airport if needed - the flight ticket should be fairly cheap now, especially one way, maybe a little over $100.
Officially, I am the 2nd owner, but the first owner only had the car for 3 month (and lost his job and forced to sell the car and I got it as Honda certified car with 72 month/100k mile full warranty (Bumper to bumper with $50 deductible) - never need to use it though, except to fix sunroof rattle once.
I did all the maintenance myself except timing belt & water pump - I do have the receipt for that as well as the detail with date, mileage of all maintenance I did. I even recorded the brand of oil, filter for every oil / fluid changes.
