FS: 98 white 5th gen 5spd 76k miles norcal

I am selling my 1998 Diamond White Honda Prelude 5 spd with 76,xxx miles. This car has been mechanically well taken care of meticulously for the life of the car (all maintenance done on time or ahead of schedule + i have the papers to prove it). I have switched over to mobil 1 synthetic at 40k miles when I bought the car. Car has never been raced.

full album

KBB lists a 1998 Honda Prelude with 76,000 miles + OEM spoiler at $10,550.
Edmunds lists the same thing w/o the OEM spoiler at $10,250
I am throwing in upgrades of a Clifford 7000 series intelliguard (the old stuff, not the new cheap stuff) + extra siren that is not powered by the main battery (its well hidden), lift sensor (can’t lift your car up w/o the alarm going off), hood sensor (can’t open the hood w/o the alarm going off)
AEM red pulley (~25k miles) ($80 value)
Brembo blank front rotors ($72 value) (~10k miles)
Ultimate front brake pads ($62 value) (~10k miles)
Metal Master rear brake pads ($29 value) (~10k miles)
Excedy organic clutch ($200 value) (~20k miles)
8.5 lb Fidanza aluminum flywheel ($200 value) (~25k miles) (very fun mod)
A6 eurospec projectors + 4300 HID (very rare! stock A6 eurospec, had it for roughly 2 years ~19k miles ago) ($1000 value) The output is amazing + night and day difference against stock lighting

The pulley, clutch and flywheel were all installed at the same time
So for the base price I am willing to sell my car at $12,000 OBO with all of the above listed parts.

I also have on the car that I'm willing to take off if the next owner does not want these parts. The base price of the car is $12,000 OBO. If you ARE a prelude enthusiast (like I am) and are planning to go get these parts anyway, I am saving you time (some parts are hard to find) + install time or costs by just leaving these parts on. If you don't want any of these parts, let me know and I will take them all off and sell you the car with the above mentioned for $12,000 OBO.

Here are the parts (and their used value):
OEM kit (very rare! $600)
jdm fogs ($250)
piaa yellow bulbs ($20) - will give you for free if you buy the fogs (ie i don't have to uninstall it)
tein ss ($450, 35k miles used still very good) - I'm always very slow over bumps so the shocks are still in good shape
aem CAI in the silver metallic color ($70)
jdm cupholder (very cool piece, $30)
spoon rear strut bar ($100)
17 x 7.5 volk TE-37 2003 Limited Edition Mercury Silver + 4 volk cf center caps, one has a minor curb, other 3 are pretty spotless (might have 1 or 2 rockchips)) (very rare! $1500 for 4 rims) I have a 5th rim that has some scratches (not too noticeable) but still in perfect drivable condition..$1800 for all 5 rims!
authentic mugen spoiler ($450)
oem floor mats ($30)
oem cf trim ($80)

If you want to package the car up…I will consider any RESONABLE offers. I am negotiable especially if you want to keep MOST of the car intact, but NO LOW BALLERS please.

Here are some extra info:

Is it a clean title (not salvaged and no theft)? Clean
Has the car been regularly maintained and serviced (not just oil change, but 30/60/90k service)? Yes, I have recently changed the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap/rotor at 73k miles. Radiator fluid was changed at 60k. You should not need a tune up other than oil change until 85-90k when you take it in for service.
-Do you have the service records to prove it? Yes I have almost all from the previous owner as well as everything during my ownership
-Was the timing belt/water pump been changed? not yet, service manual recommends 90k (i would've done it at 85k)
-When was last smog? Sept 05
-When is registration up? June 06
Has the car been in any accidents (major/minor)? None
Any known problems with the car? None
What’s the tire tread life? Tires on the Volk rims (20-30% life, one tire has a leak) Tires on stock rims (2 brand new, 2 at 60-70%)
Is the car dependable for long drivers (ie San Jose -> San Diego and back)? very
How many owners for the car? I am the 2nd owner
Why are you selling the car? Don't need 2 cars
Mileage? 76xxx

If you have any questions (email me!). Serious buyers only! I am not in a rush to sell. You can test drive but you must present me with valid ID and insurance card.

Just remember a well maintained car is hard to come by!

Thanks,
Tony
