Selling a 2001 Honda Prelude in Electron Blue Pearl with black cloth interior with 90,300 miles. I am the original owner and this car has never had an accident, repaint, engine work, etc.
Here are some facts about the car:
The original motor and manual transmission has 90,300 miles on it. It has had routine maintenance performed religiously by myself and my father and Hughes Honda. The motor has never been modified in any way. The car has not been raced (save for one drag "race" at a National Prelude Owner's Meet where I was laughed at for not launching the car haha) and as such, the motor is in great shape and the original stock clutch shows no signs of fade. It has only been run with 93 octane and basically been babied engine wise. Most recently, at 75,000 miles I replaced the spark plugs and flushed the coolant system. I have receipts and service records. I am selling it (and my LS1 FD) because I am purchasing an M3 that my wife and I can use on road trips and as a DD.
The paint is glossy with very few imperfections. Most notably, there is a scrape/scuff on the front lip from getting to close to a curb, and there are a few rock chips here and there. There is a ding (likely from a falling acorn) near the roof that could probably be PDRed. There is a chip in the windshield. Other than that and a few areas that could use some attention from a great detail/waxing, I can't imagine the exterior would disappoint most.
The interior is in great condition in my opinion. The floormats and the shift boot (faded) would be the only thing a picky enthusiast might want to replace.
A/C blows super cold, cranks perfectly every time, everything works, super reliable. Just ready for someone else to enjoy it.
The car comes with:
OEM Honda Accessories Lip Kit (side skirts custom installed using nutserts to prevent rattling)
OEM JDM Fog Light Kit
Philips HID Kit (6000K) - easily removed if desired
RSX 5 Speed Shift Knob
Tein SS Coil-Overs (installed at about 55,000 miles)
OEM Prelude Trunk Mat
I also have SSR Integral A2 wheels in 17x7 Prelude sizing. I'm not sure how en vogue these are, but they used to be some of the most coveted wheels for a Prelude back when I was active in the community. They are not on the car currently and I haven't decided what I'm going to do with them. But maybe that sweetens the deal a bit. With these wheels this car was featured in the PreludeOnline calendar twice.
