You do realize you can get an rsx in good condition with less miles for around that price right?

'94 VTEC--comments

I understand your point of view---and have no problem with it. In my defense I point out that I bought the car with $25,400 '94 dollars and then treated it like baby---only had it in VTEC only one time. Kept in in a heated garage and it's as close to a new car as you are ever going to find. No dents---no problems---everything works and the car and the engine are not hurt in any way----the paint has never been without a coat of wax--and a buyer will not be required to spend one dime on it---it's ready to drive. It has nearly all the options which were available at that model offering. The car will go another 100K miles at absolute minimum maintenance cost (an opinion based on my ownership of three other Hondas driven by members of my family) ---and upon that basis do I name my price---confident that a buyer will get his moneys worth. No doubt there are other nice cars selling for less money----I know that---- (and am not totally non-negotiable)---because I love this car and want to see it in the hands of someone who will care for it the way I did. I am an old man now---in years--if not in spirit. I've been retired going on 7 years and mostly just drive my pickup now. Iv'e never offered it before--and have turned down many offers for it through the years.--If the car does not sell I won't be out anything by keeping it----it's licensed and I still enjoy driving it once in awhile.

Good luck with the sale, but preludes in similar condition/trim don't sell for more than 6,000 US dollars.

Even if you are the original owner. You got over 100,000 miles out of it, and 14 years of driving it, you can't expect that after all that the car will only devalue 50%.

Also, not hitting VTEC but once is not really a selling point. I understand you mean it hasn't been beaten by that statement but H22's love high reving, and not using VTEC at all after 14 years, really isn't a great thing.

Much respect to taking great care of the car man..... but it's not going to happen.

Even in excellent condition its value is $4,675

Cars depretiate in value over time... thats just how it is.

With the great condition it is in, how come there are no pics? I'd like to see some pics just for fun. I love seeing ludes that are in great shape.

97 and 98 Integra Type R's with as many miles sell for that much. Those were limited production cars. How much you bought it for doesn't affect market value, just ask all those Mercedes owners. If you're adamant about this price, save yourself the effort and enjoy the car yourself for years to come.
