Show me a
comparable SH that has never been modded with under 90K and all major maintenance completed driven by a responsible adult for its entire life for $4,500 (half) or around there within 100 miles of 07632 and I will drop the price immediately.
In my zip code,
KBB: Excellent = $8,690 Good = $8,115 Fair = $7,165
Edmunds: Dealer Retail = $8,444 Private Party = $7,409 Trade-in = $6,409
NADA: Clean Retail = $9,050 Clean Trade-in = $6,700 Avg. Tade-in = $5,925
Autotrader: Only 8 manual preludes for sale within 200 miles and not one of them is an SH.

I don't mind a flame, but would appreciate a little effort to do some research. For KBB, at $8,500, I am right in the range between excellent and good. For both edmunds and NADA I am a bit above the private party or avg. between retail and trade-in.
My reasoning is as follows:
1. The car is clean, clean, clean. Never modded, never driven by a 17yo as his/her first car.
2. The car is rare (especially in this condition). A search on autotrader/cars.com/eBay should prove that an SH is not so easy to find.
3. The expensive maintenance on the car has been done, saving buyers the headache and cost of doing it themselves.
4. I am not in a must sell situation, so I prefer to take my time and find the right buyer.
So far, I have had some interest. If I don't sell the car in a reasonable time frame, I will let market dynamics rule and lower the price of the car - something I am willing to do.
Last, the price is a starting point for negotiations, which I am open to. If someone is interested, he/she has my contact information.
