2000 5spd black lude 12,500 OBO CA - Honda Prelude Forum

had some problems with the dealership about the car I traded this in for (problem was with the car I was going to buy not this one), so I am willing to sell for about how much I traded it in for. 12,500 OBO.
the classifieds goes at the speed of light. Does any one know a friend who might be looking for a prelude.
New pistons,rings, head gaskets, all belts, crank sensor, alternator, rod bearings, injector o-rings, cap and rotor, all have about 900 miles on them. Car has been very well maintained with mobil one oil every 2500 miles.
UPGRADES: neuspeed sport springs, tokico shocks, suspension already camber adjusted, dc short shifter, tanabe racing medallion exhaust w/ silencer, carbon fiber dash kit from factory, boost and air feul gauge mounted on side pillar, 17 inch enkei 3 peice aegis rims with 80 % left on tires.

Asking 12,500OR best offer, that way with the money you save you can fix it if you think something will go wrong. I have someone who wants to buy the rims, so if you want the car for 12,300 with sh rims then heres a deal. Only thing with the car is that you might need a new bottom timing belt cover, there is one there but I cracked it replacing the crank sensor. interior is perfect except for slight tear on front of shift boot, barely noticeable. Stereo sound really good even for a stock setup.

I would be happy to take pics of anything else you would like on the car. Just make me an offer and I might take it.

I get email saying that something must be wrong with the car because I am selling so cheap. I just want to move on to my next car as soon as possible, before the winter break ends. the motor was rebiult upon request from a potential buyer who couldn't purchase it unless the motor was near new, then had to back out becasue of financial problems. Car runs great. Must sell. The offers I am getting are below what I owe on the loan, can anyone give me at least 12,500?

why is there a boost gauge? i don't see turbo/sc listed...

^^^ I was wondering the same thing. You had your engine rebuilt because a potential buyer wanted you to do so? Sounds shady.

he didn't bother to sell the gauges, the car used to be jrsc'd. also, he didn't have the engine rebuilt, he rebuilt it himself i believe (if i remember correctly, or perhaps that was someone else...not sure)

sorry haven't checked back in awhile. Car is sold already, as far as the rebiuld goes it was rebiult by a friend who wanted to buy the car. His parents new it had a turbo on it and wouldn't cosign on the loan unless he had the motor rebiult. He paid for it so I didn't care I also assumed he was still going to buy it. Anyways motor has perfect compression in all cylinders and I still have all the old pistons and parts just in case someone did think it was shady. doesn't matter anymore.
a friend has cash in hand to buy a prelude near southern CA any help would be appreciated. He couldn't by mine in time but now he has the money.
