1991 Honda Prelude S - GREAT PARTS CAR
Selling my very first car as is. Not interested in certifying or emission testing it to sell. This car is perfect for a parts car. The body is deteriorating in the rocker panel areas. The body is still good if your interested in doing a full overhaul of it. I'm the original and only owner and would love to, but don't have the time or money at the moment.
The original engine/body has 518838km. The transmission was rebuilt once at approx. 455000km and the original clutch was changed at approx. 420000. Engine still runs but obviously burns oil. Its a Honda. Battery is slowly dying and will need a boost to get it started.
The interior is immaculate with the exception of some damage along the top of the passenger door panel. I ripped it pulling some heavy parts through the window. Other than that, the interior is in great shape.
Parts that are worth getting the car for:
Clutch (~98000km on it - changed in Feb 2006)
Transmission (~63000km - changed in Feb 2007)
Suspension (Eibach Springs and Tokico Shocks)
Brullen Stainless Steel exhaust system (from cat back)
Selling with new snow tires and steel rims (purchased in Nov 2009)
Rear Right Upper control arm (Nov 2009)
Front axles (Oct 2008)
Front Upper Ball Joints (Dec 2008)
Extra Sunroof
Extra assorted parts I bought from a wrecker (hinges, interior panels, electronic parts etc. ) - will throw in with the car.
Interior is cloth and blue in colour. Windows are tinted.
Selling car for $600 O.B.O. Definitely willing to negotiate - MUST SELL. Selling car and extra parts as one. Not parting out.
